This weekend marks the beginning of our holiday season. We begin the routine of driving and visiting and eating. Today I am going to try to not burn some caramel, which I did on Wednesday night. Yesterday, I took out the brick of caramel to show off my skills. I was so sure it was hard as a rock that I tapped the large, flat slab of caramel on the counter for comedic effect, and of course, it shattered into a carmel explosion that we are still picking off of the bottom of our feet. Holidays! Wish me luck on today's caramel adventure!

This video of an eagle almost snatching a small child grabbed my attention this week, turns out it was fake! A homework assignment, which makes me jealous, what a fabulous homework assignment.
